		<description>Have you ever thought of presenting a paper on this, or a related topic at the Popular Culture Conference? The 2011 conference will be held in San Antonio, TX, and the deadline for abstracts is December 15. I usually present at that conference every year, but will not be attending it in 2011 (I will probably present at the Amercican Association of Teachers of French Conference instead this year.) 

I am not a Grateful Dead fan by any means, but your work is really interesting! I found this entry via a link that your sister (a long-time online friend, whom I got to meet in Paris this past June!) posted on Facebook. I teach French at Clarion University of PA.</description>
